The candidate will be part of the Global Markets Equities Technology team and help develop and deliver a best in class trading platform for European equity businesses. The role involves assisting the Fidessa team to deliver a complex and challenging range of projects, understanding and building upon the existing platform for the European and applicable Emerging Markets, working with other trading technology teams supporting the operation of the Equity Cash business and working closely with key sales, trading and management individuals on the trading floor. The person will join a team of 6 people in London and Moscow.

The Fidessa team is a key area for our trading service and provides and opportunity to understand how an investment bank operates in equity markets. The role involves working closely with sales/traders, traders and business managers, helping them implement their trading strategies and generate revenues for the bank.  Fidessa forms a key part of almost all business flows for the Cash desks and the role will involve working under pressure to deliver a consistently high level of daily service as well as delivering significant new projects.  A well performing member will have the satisfaction of contributing to the essence of our function. The high degree of independence and the need to manage user expectations, liaise with regulators and core infrastructure groups provide excellent growth opportunities and a broad skill set.

Financial Markets and Position Keeping knowledge is highly appreciated

Role Description

IVFS team is newly created team in St.Petersburg as part of bigger AS Pricing team which is responcible for Derivatives Pricing for different business

lines.

IVFS is service for volatility surfaceses autofitting for GED business. We deliver solution for several desks located in NY and FFT.

Currently application is server side only and as part of new initiative it is required to create new UI on WPF.

Duties And Responsibilities Duties of the successful candidate will include:

• Analysis of problems and requests for change

• New components design and development, bug fixing

• Code reviews, coaching

• Learning Equities Derivatives business domain

Other duties and resposibilities are only limited by aspirations of the successful candidate

Experience / Requirements (Required) • Strong C# hands-on experience

• WPF

• Fundamental OOP/OOD skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience / Requirements (Preferred) • Good math background

• Experience in communicating directly with users and clients

• Financial industry experience

What Will The Employee Gain From This Role • Gain the knowledge of GED pricing/trading from the front office trading perspective

• Gain experience in the latest .Net technologies
